Here is a very handy tech tip that might be useful for parents. If you are allowing your child to use an ipad, iphone, etc. and you want to restrict their access to only one app, here is how you can set that up. Go into Settings - General - Accessibility-Guided Access - turn it "on" and set a passcode for first time use.
Once turned "on", when you enter a program,  push the bottom button 3x to initiate.  To leave "guided access" push bottom button 3x, enter passcode, and touch "end" in top left of screen.
